For a class in its class, Sonata boasts hood gas lifters which promotes safer opening and closing while other cars may just use manual metal roads for hood opening. For rear boot, Sonata's boot opens up fully - no "luggage damaging/space reducing arms" jutting into luggage area. The opener is also supplemented by gas lifters for refined handling.
